Flipkart announced launch of Nokia's first laptop Nokia PureBook X14 in India marking brands official entry into laptop segment. The Nokia PureBook X14 comes in a 1.1 kg ultralight and 16.8mm sleek form-factor. It features a 14" Full HD screen that is powered by  Dolby Vision^® for ultra-vivid picture quality. UniPixel Enters into Memorandum of Understanding with GIS

UniPixel, Inc. (NASDAQ: UNXL), a provider of Performance Engineered Films™ to the touchscreen and flexible electronics markets, today announced a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") to enter into a strategic partnership with General Interface Solution, Limited ("GIS"), a Taiwan-based, subsidiary of Foxconn, and a billion-dollar provider of integrated touch display solutions in the mobile phone, Notebook PC, 2-in-1 laptop and tablet markets to global customers including major PC and smart phone brands.

Under the memorandum the parties will form a strategic manufacturing project that will initially extend over three years and which may be renewed by mutual agreement. A definitive agreement is expected to be executed in the coming weeks. The parties also contemplate entering into a separate development project for foldable/flexible displays.

Panasonic India launched its Semi-Rugged Toughbook CF-54 , comes with optional hot swap battery and much more

Panasonic India today launched its Semi-Rugged Toughbook CF-54 at an event held in its Gurgaon office. The Semi-Rugged Toughbook targets new verticals in terms of business such as automative, aerospace, office executives, retail and logistics. The CF-54 is successor to CF-53 and is 50% thinner as well as significantly lighter than its predecessor.
