[Solved] -How to resolve "Not able to establish connection to secured gateway" Cisco AnyConnect VPN

Sometimes my work demands to login into my organization network from remote location and to log in to the network we use Cisco AnyConnect VPN client as most of other company's employees. Cisco AnyConnect VPN client is among most popular VPN connectivity software in market. Recently I had hard time in connecting with VPN as the application was throwing below error message.

"AnyConnect was not able to establish a connection to the specified secure gateway. Please try connecting again"

The message popped up after I had entered my credentials successfully. After searching for the solution on internet  I found many forums where this problem has been discussed and a simple method just worked out for me.

Below are the steps which I did to resolve the issue successfully.

Step1: Go to run type services.msc

Step2: Search for the service "Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)"
Step3: Click on Stop the service link.

Now try to connect again. Your problem should be resolved by now.
