Pantech's Discover: Storm in smart phone market.!

Smart phone lovers will remember this year's Conusmer Electronic Show for Pantech's Discovery "Discover". Pantech revealed its most ambitious smart phone Discover in CES. Discover comes with a 4.8 inch HD display, 12.6 MP camera , 4G LTE, NFC in built with Android ICS upgradable to JellyBean. with unbelievable price of $49.99 with AT&T carrier.


Discover is powered by 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. On either side of Handset are dual-3D- surround sound speakers, unlike just one speaker which we usually see in our handsets normally. This makes watching videos more enjoyable on 4.8 cm screen.

In addition, the Discover is a great option for business users as it comes with full VPN and EAS support, plus device encryption for secure access to corporate email and intranets.  Its 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 16 GB on-board memory plus SwiftKey app allow for maximum efficiency, while its 2,100 mAh battery makes it easier to be productive all day.

AT&T gives its DriveMode app which is aimed to keep users away from texting and calling while driving, the app senses the speed and returns customizable message if you are driving more than 25mph. What more you want in $49.99 (with a new 2 year contract with AT&T).

Unfortunately this phone is not available in India at the moment, but we have presence of players like Micromax , spice etc looking forward for such device from them.
