Finally I got my own camera ... after long wait, thinking of budget and quality , requirement and time finally got it. Yes this was the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras ("A festival in India usually known for buying new things") .
After a lot of research on camera reviews and prices on all sort of websites Nikon L26 clicked my mind with 16.1 Mega pixels , 5X optical zoom, easy to shoot feaures and less than 200 gm of weight. On most of websites it was offered between 5200-5500 Rs. I got it from a local shop after lot of bargaining @4700Rs. Yes i had to sacrifice on UCB watch for that deal which was supposed to be free if i would have paid 200 Rs more but I was not interested in that. But still I got 4GB SD card, 1 Pouch, 2 rechargable NiMh batteries.
After getting this camera I started clicking by taking photos of my 4 months old daughter picture quality is really good and also operating is very easy. Any novice also can click great photos. One disadvantage i felt is that some times when I press button to click photos , shooting mode changes automatically and a potential good shot is missed may be because i have to explore bit more on settings part.
Overall highly recommended product from my side for those who don't want to miss any moment of life and at same time doesn't want to spend much money on buying digital cameras.
