Huawei launches the all new, generations ahead HUAWEI Band 6 in India

 Huawei Consumer Business Group today announced the newest member of its HUAWEI Band Series, HUAWEI Band 6. With consumers increasingly demanding more from their wearable devices, the new HUAWEI Band 6 has been greatly enhanced in terms of health and fitness monitoring, design and battery life to provide a smartwatch-like experience at the friendlier price point of a smart band.

 

All-day SpO2 Monitoring

Health monitoring features are one of the most popular features for smart band users. Thanks to the hardware modules optimised, based on the Huawei TruSeenTM 4.0 and new smart power-saving algorithm, the HUAWEI Band 6 now supports All Day SpO2 monitoring[1]. It monitors users’ health and generates an alarm when the blood oxygen level is low, helping them take swift action and manage their health more proactively[2]. HUAWEI Band 6 also provides continuous, real-time, and accurate heart rate, sleep and stress monitoring. HUAWEI Band 6 is Huawei’s first smart band to include a 1.47-inch AMOLED FullView Display with a 64 percent screen-to-body ratio, meaning it can display more information while remaining stylish.

HUAWEI Band 6 comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED FullView Display with a resolution of 194*368 and 282PPI for vivid content. The colourful screen display provides users with greater clarity of information and gives workout and health data in a more user-friendly display ratio. Users can easily swipe up and down, left and right, just like using a smartphone touchscreen.

 

Two-week battery life

Supported by a high-efficiency chipset and smart power-saving algorithms, the HUAWEI Band 6 enables continuous heart rate and sleep monitoring with a 14-day battery life[3] for uninterrupted use. On top of this, the HUAWEI Band 6 supports fast charging via a magnetic charger. One five-minute charge can sustain the smart band for two days[4] of typical use. Second Dubai Technology Tour to drive UAE-India collaboration in retail tech

 Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Dubai Chamber’s International Offices in India, has announced that it will organise the Dubai Tech Tour with the aim of fostering UAE-India collaboration in the area of retail tech.




 

The virtual trade mission, kicking off this September, will offer scale-ups access to exclusive virtual events and the opportunity to meet with public and private sector stakeholders from the UAE, pitch their business to prospective investors and business partners, and participate in business matchmaking sessions organised by Dubai Chamber.

Blaupunkt launches 4 ‘Made in India’ Android smart TVs starting at Rs 14,999

 erman consumer electronics giant Blaupunkt launched four ‘Made-in-India’ Android TV models today in India. The brand has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with the Indian contract manufacturer Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd (SPPL). As per the licensing contract, Blaupunkt’s manufacturing, branding, designing, packaging, and retailing supply chain will be handled by SPPL, the 30-year-old manufacturer of home-grown brands. The products will be available to customers from July 10th onwards on India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, Flipkart.

 

With pricing starting from INR 14,999, the four Android TV models include a 32-inch HD Ready Cybersound Android TV, a 42-inch FHD Android TV, a 43-inch Cybersound 4K Android TV and 55-inch 4K Android TV. The 32-inch version is available at Rs 14,999, powered by Android 9 is bezel-less which comes with 40W speaker output, Edge-free sound technology, 2 speakers, and 1 GB Ram and 8 GB ROM to offer a smooth viewing experience. The 42- inch FHD Android TV is priced at Rs 21,999, powered by Android 9 and includes an Ultra-Thin Bezel, 40W speaker output, Edge-free sound technology, 2 speakers, 1GB Ram and 8GB ROM. The brand has incorporated a 50W speaker output in the 43-inch 4K TV which is bezel-less and priced at Rs 30,999. It has Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround certified audio with 4 amazing speakers and has used Dolby MS12 sound technology that can decode and improve Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus powered sound technologies. The model is powered by Android 10 and is inbuilt with a 2GB Ram and 8GB ROM.
