How to use Twitter Moments feature to tell a story

Twitter has evolved a lot since it was launched as a micro blogging site in 2006. Twitter is still popular among its users due to its minimalistic UI and features that keeps the platform relevant. Twitter Moments is one such feature which provides users a dynamic way to tell stories.

How to make most of the Twitter Moments:

Create a Moment:

From the Moments tab, click the Create New Moment button and give a title and description to your Moment.

Add Tweets by selecting from your liked Tweets or your past Tweets. You can also search for Tweets that you’d like to add.

Reorder your Tweets by scrolling the top of the page and use the arrows to move up or down.

You can also choose to delete a Tweet from your Moment by clicking on the Delete button on the right side top and bottom of that Tweet.

Select a Cover for your Moment and crop it for web or mobile. Once you’ve set your cover image, the source will be credited below the image.

Once finalised, click on the ‘Publish’ button at the top of the page to make your Moment live and compose a Tweet to share it with your followers.

Additionally, you also have an option to save your Moment as a draft by clicking on ‘Finish later’ at the top of the web page.

Customise a Moment: Twitter allows you to further customise your Moment by adding a colour theme, sensitive labels, locations and private URLs. You can find these options at the top left corner of the page.

To Make a Moment Private: While creating a Moment via twitter.com, you can opt for sharing a Moment privately, which will make the Moment available to those who have the link to it. Similarly, if you would like to make previously published or shared Moments visible to only you, you can select ‘Unpublish Moment’ from the dropdown menu.

Please Note: Twitter Moments can only be created when logged in on Twitter.com and not from your Twitter for iOS or Android app. You can also choose to follow @MomentsIndia to catch up on the best of what’s happening on Twitter in an instant.

Online booking process for HSRP and color coded stickers in Gurgaon, Haryana

Residents of Delhi NCR are in mad rush to register for HSRP (High security registration plate) and color coded stickers as Delhi Police has started fining Rs 5500 for not having any of the above, which means a citizen is bound to pay Rs 11000 as fine if he/she doesn't have both of them. As the announcement of enforcement of this rule was made we went through a number of portals sharing details on how to apply for both of these combine or individually on bookmyhsrp.com. However, we soon found out that the portal is accepting only Delhi and UP registered vehicles and leaves behind Haryana which encircles Delhi from 3 sides.

For Haryana users the vendor has come up with another portal which is http://hsrphr.com/. Once you are on the porta, you can follow below steps.

  • Navigate to Haryana hsrp portal.

  • Select first option if you don't have HSRP or else you can apply only for color sticker.
  • Enter Car details

  • Select fitment location as per your location

  • Select Appointment and timeslot as per availability

  • Confirm details in booking summary page and proceed

  • Verify Details and pay

MPL launches India’s first indigenous shooter game Rogue Heist

India’s largest mobile gaming platform Mobile Premier League (MPL) has partnered with Mumbai-based game developer Lifelike Studios to launch Rogue Heist, India’s first indigenous multi-player online shooter game exclusively on the MPL app, ahead of other platforms. Rogue Heist is developed by Lifelike Studios and backed by Bollywood Actor and Producer Arbaaz Khan and Time2play Gaming Studios.

Rogue Heist is one of the first multi-player Esports on the MPL platform and will see users face off against each other, with cash prizes for grabs for each battle and tournament. MPL currently has over 40 games on its platform.

Commenting on the launch, Shubh Malhotra, Co-Founder, Mobile Premier League, said, “Rogue Heist is a very exciting and engaging game and we are glad that it is launching exclusively on MPL, even before the Google Play Store. The graphics, gameplay, and the overall experience is top notch and our users are going to have the time of their lives, participating in a virtual cash heist. Lifelike Studios has done a great job optimising the game for our platform and we look forward to working with them to take Esports to all corners of the country.”

The idea behind Rogue Heist is to create a unique experience of a heist, which is intense, engaging, and fun in a truly competitive real-time multi-player environment.

The game mode on MPL is Rogue Heist- BRAWL - a super fast, action-packed Esport mode. Each game lasts only seven minutes in which 10 players are pitted against each other to steal the maximum amount of money. Here, the players get the real feel of a heist, yet come out top gainers based on their individual performance. Based on the leaderboard, top players will win cash prizes on MPL, making it a virtual cash heist with real money for takes.

“MPL has been our first choice for collaboration from the beginning. With the opportunity of exclusively launching on MPL (for real money awards), I am happy that we overcame many challenges by deep collaboration between both our teams. The biggest challenge was to reduce the size of the game from 1.5 GB to 450 MB for MPL users while still being able to provide the true Rogue Heist experience. As this is a live game, we plan on providing constant updates to keep MPL users engaged,” said Ashish Beuria, CEO, Lifelike Studios.

“Rogue Heist will be a game changer, which is made in India. Our team is really excited and happy to launch the Esports version of Rogue Heist on MPL, as it gives us the opportunity to engage with their massive playerbase and geographical reach all over India and Indonesia, while at the same time providing an exciting, edge-of-the-seat shooting game experience to MPL players,” said Bollywood Actor and Producer Arbaaz Khan.

Founded in 2018, MPL is India’s largest Mobile Gaming and Esports platform. It has grown to over 40 million registered users and currently has over 40 games, including titles like FreeFire and World Cricket Championship. MPL also has multiple gaming studios and developers as partners to publish their games on its platform. MPL’s app is available on both Android and iOS.
