What is 100 GbE?

40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) and 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) are groups of computer networking technologies for transmitting Ethernet frames at rates of 40 and 100 gigabits per second (40 and 100 Gbit/s), respectively. The technology was first defined by the IEEE 802.3ba-2010 standard and later by the 802.3bg-2011, 802.3bj-2014, and 802.3bm-2015 standards. The standards define numerous port types with different optical and electrical interfaces and different numbers of optical fiber strands per port. Short distances over twinaxial cable are supported. 40GBASE-T uses twisted pair cabling for 40 Gbit/s over up to 30 m.

Let us discuss about it in brief.

Why GRE?

GRE is an important entrance test for master degree in US because it is accepted by thousands of graduate schools and business schools all over the world. For more than 60 years, the GRE test is being held in approximately 1,000 centers over 160 countries.

It offers admissions in the courses in natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, business and arts.

Another reason for the popularity of GRE is that it has two versions. GRE general test which does not judge your knowledge in any field. It has questions from general topics like reasoning and writing.
The second version is GRE subject test. It is an achievement test which measures the knowledge of the candidate in a particular field and emphasizes your knowledge and skills in a specific area.
Also, GRE has its own marking scheme which sets a common bench mark for testing all the candidates’ qualifications irrespective of their cultural and educational backgrounds.
These little things make the GRE unique among others. That is why it is the top most taken entrance test for MS in US.
Aspirants who dream of getting a good job and career must do masters from a good college. And US is possibly best for it for which you need a proper gateway like GRE.
